About this recipe: This is a simple rice dish for vegetarians. Enjoy it warm, by itself or with pickle.

Serves: 2 

  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • ½ tablespoon pepper seeds
  • 2 tablespoons chopped onions
  • 2 tablespoons chopped capsicums
  • 2 tablespoons chopped carrots
  • ½ teaspoon cloves
  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • Salt as needed

Prep:25min  ›  Cook:10min  ›  Ready in:35min 

  1. Take oil in pan, add cumin seeds, pepper seeds and cloves. Then add all the vegetables. Cook the vegetables for 5 minutes.
  2. Add cooked rice and salt. Stir and mix, and cook for 3 minutes.
