    About this recipe: Chivada is one of the most famous Maharashtran snacks and it especially prepared during the time of diwali. Enjoy it warm.

    Serves: 3 

    • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
    • 2 teaspoons red chili powder
    • 1 teaspoon haldi powder
    • 2 teaspoons chivada masala
    • 4 cups kateri poha ( special poha made for chivada)
    • 2 teaspoons sugar powder
    • Salt as needed
    • 2 tablespoons fried peanuts

    Prep:10min  ›  Cook:15min  ›  Ready in:25min 

    1. Take oil in a pan. Add red chili powder, haldi powde and chivada masala.Mix well.
    2. Now add poha. Stir and mix.
    3. Add sugar powder, salt and peanuts.
    4. Mix well and fry until the poha gets crunchy.
