White pulav

    White pulav is an essential and must item in Indian cuisine, and in the greater South Asian continent. Serve it as a main rice dish with kababs, curries and chutneys.

    Serves: 2 

    • 2 cups cooked rice
    • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
    • 1 teaspoon cloves
    • 2 tablespoons chopped carrots
    • 2 tablespoons chopped onions
    • 1 tablespoon chopped capsicums
    • 1 tablespoon peas
    • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
    • Salt as needed

    1. Heat a pan with oil. Add cumin seeds and cloves. Then add all the vegetables and fry for 5 minutes.
    2. Add cooked rice and salt. Again fry for 2 minutes.
