About this recipe:
Naral bhat or coconut rice is a favorite amongst Maharashtrians. Serve it warm with curries and chutneys.
1 tablespoon ghee
3 to 4 cloves
1 cup grated coconut
2 cups cooked basmati rice
1 cup sugar syrup
1 teaspoon saffron soaked in 1 tablespoon of water
1 tablespoon chopped cashew nuts
- Heat a pan with ghee. Add cloves and fry just for a bit. Then add coconut and cooked rice.
- Stir and mix. Now add sugar syrup and saffron.
- At last add cashew nuts. Stir and mix in the ingredients.
- Serve hot.
