Arbi ke kofte

    This is colocasia based kofta, or deep fried round balls. Serve as evening snack or side dish for dinner with chutney.

    Serves: 4 

    • 3 cups arbi (colocasia) slices, boiled, peeled and mashed
    • 2 boiled, peeled and mashed potatoes
    • 1 teaspoon chopped green chilies
    • 1 teaspoon cumin powder
    • 2 teaspoons garam masala powder
    • 1 cup corn flour
    • Vegetable oil for deep frying

    1. Mix all the ingredients for kofta, excluding the vegetable oil, and make small balls out of the mixture.
    2. Heat a deep frying pan with oil. Deep fry the koftas.
    3. Serve with ketchup.
