Megha's aloo methi

    This is a healthy and light side dish that can be served for lunch or dinner with chapattis.

    Serves: 3 

    • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
    • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
    • 1 teaspoon mustard seeds
    • 1 tablespoon chopped onions
    • 2 teaspoons red chili powder
    • 1 teaspoon haldi powder
    • 1 teaspoon garam masala powder
    • 1 cup chopped methi leaves (fenugreek)
    • 2 cups boiled and chopped aloo (potatoes)
    • Salt as needed

    1. Heat a pan with vegetable oil. Add cumin and mustard seeds.
    2. Stir and add onions. Then add red chili powder, haldi powder and garam masala powder. Mix and add the methi and potatoes.
    3. Sprinkle salt, mix and cook for 10 minutes.
