Dry dum aloo

    This is a thick and dry gravy of delicious dum aloo. Enjoy this Punjabi dish with rice or paratha/naan.

    Serves: 2 

    • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
    • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
    • 1 teaspoon mustard seeds
    • 2 teaspoons red chili powder
    • 1 teaspoon garam masala powder
    • 1 teaspoon haldi powder
    • 1 teaspoon cumin powder
    • 1 cup small pebble sized boiled potatoes, peeled
    • 1 tablespoon dahi (yogurt)
    • Salt as needed

    1. Heat a pan with vegetable oil. Add cumin and mustard seeds. Stir.
    2. Then add red chili powder, garam masala powder,haldi powder and cumin powder. Mix well. Now add potatoes and dahi. Mix in salt and cook for 15 minutes.
