About this recipe: This is SUPER spicy onion chutney. Enjoy with chapatti or rice and dal.

Serves: 5 

  • ½ tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • 2 cups chopped onions
  • 3-4 dried red chillies, toasted and crushed
  • 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
  • ½ teaspoon haldi powder
  • 1 tablespoon roasted crushed peanuts
  • Salt as needed

  1. Heat a pan with vegetable oil. Add cumin seeds, stir and add onions and toasted red chilies. Fry the onions until the onions get brown.
  2. Now add red chili powder, haldi powder and salt. Stir and add peanuts and cook for 5 minutes.
