Gavar(cluster bean) ki subji

    This is a dish made from cluster beans. It is light and spicy. Serve with chapattis.

    Serves: 3 

    • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
    • 1 teaspoon mustard seeds
    • 1 teaspoon asafoetida
    • 3-4 green chilies, chopped
    • 2 tablespoons groundnut, sliced
    • 2 cups gavar (cluster bean)
    • Salt as needed

    1. Heat a frying pan with oil. Add mustard seeds and asafoetida.
    2. Then add chopped green chillies and ground nut slices. Mix.
    3. Add gavar and salt. Stir and put the lid on. Cook on low heat until the beans become tender and soft, and the spices have mixed well.
