About this recipe: Enjoy this light and refreshing stir fry of cabbage. Serve with chapattis!

Serves: 3 

  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon mustard seeds
  • 1 teaspoon asafoetida
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2-3 green chillies, chopped
  • 2 cups cabbage slices
  • Salt as needed

  1. Heat a frying pan with oil. Add mustard seeds and asafoetida.
  2. Add onions, stir and fry until the onions turn pink. Then add chopped green chillies. Mix.
  3. Add cabbage slices and salt. Stir and put the lid on. Cook on low heat for 10-15 minutes.
