Fried tomato

    This is a light and flavorful dish that is perfect as a morning bhaji to eat with chapattis or roti.

    Ingredients
    Serves: 5 

    • 2 teaspoons ghee
    • 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds
    • Coriander leaves-as preferred
    • A pinch red chilli powder
    • A pinch turmeric powder
    • A pinch coriander powder
    • 1/4 teaspoon pepper powder
    • Salt as needed
    • 5 tomatoes, washed and cubed

    1. Heat a tawa with ghee.
    2. Add cumin seeds, green chillies and a little bit of coriander leaves. Stir and add red chilli, turmeric and coriander powders. Also add pepper powder and salt.
    3. And the tomatoes and stir carefully so that the tomatoes do not get smashed or broken. Cook with lid on for 2 minutes.
    4. Garnish with rest of the coriander leaves.
