About this recipe: This is a delicious and healthy snack/side dish made from spinach. Serve with chutney.

Afsana_Hossain Dhaka, Bangladesh

Serves: 3 

  • 1/2 cup boiled chickpeas
  • 2 bread slices
  • 1/4 cup chopped coriander leaves
  • 1.5 cups half boiled palong/palak/spinach
  • 1 teaspoon chopped green chilies
  • 1 tablespoon besan
  • salt as needed
  • soybean oil for deep frying

Prep:10min  ›  Cook:15min  ›  Ready in:25min 

  1. Mix all the ingredients together, excluding the oil.
  2. Heat a deep frying pan with soybean oil. Take a lump of the mixture on your palm and press slightly to make kabab. Deep fry the kabab. Repeat for the rest of the mixture.
  3. Serve with chutneys.
