Mix flour, ghee, salt, baking powder and water to make flour. Cover dough with lid and set aside for 1 hour.
Divide the dough into 10 dough balls. Roll out each dough ball into a medium sized tortilla or puri.
Heat a deep frying pan/kadhai with oil. Heat a tawa as well.
Place one puri on the hot oil. Deep fry it. When the puri is almost fried, grease the tawa with some oil.
Take the puri out and place it on the tawa. Crack an egg on it. Sprinkle salt, a pinch of red chilli powder and a few onion slices. Continue to shift the puri on tawa and then reverse its side if u want the egg to be a bit fried.
