Heat a tawa. Toast the meat slices slightly. Set aside.
In a saucepan, heat water. Add the meat slices, 1 teaspoon ginger paste, 1/2 teaspoon garlic paste and salt. Allow the meat to cook. Drain the excess water out.
Heat a deep frying pan with ghee. Deep fry the meat slices. Transfer the meat slices. Then deep fry the onion slices until golden brown.
In a saucepan, add the fried onions and powdered spices ( cinnamon, jayatri, cardamom and jaifal). Mix and add the meat slices, ginger and garlic pastes. Cook on medium heat, add a little of water, like 1 cup and cook until the meat becomes tender and the water dries and the oil starts to surface on top.
When the oil surfaces on top, add the yoghurt and tomato sauce. Stir and cook for 5 minutes.
