About this recipe:This breakfast/snack recipe is a hit with my family and friends and most importantly it is nutritious, healthy, the ingredients are easily available and does not require the tedious task of fermenting needed for a regular uttapam.
In a medium sized vessel add the rava, oats, onion, chillies, coriander, nuts and raisins
Blend together curd, water and salt until smooth and add it to the oat mixture. Keep this aside for 10 minutes.
Heat a dosa pan and brush with oil or ghee. When hot add a ladleful of batter to the pan. It will form a thick circle. If you want the uttapams thinner use the back of the ladle to spread the batter lightly. Cover and cook till the underside is golden brown, then flip over with the help of a spatula and fry till golden brown. makes about 6-8 uttapams.
I use any available instant oats for this recipe and (1 cup=250ml) measure
