Veg Rawa Uttappa

    This is one of my favorite recipes taught by my mother. You can eat it as a snack with corriander chutney and tomato sauce!!!

    Ingredients
    Serves: 3 

    • 1 cup (soaked for 4 hours) Rawa
    • 1 Cucumber
    • 1 Tomato
    • 1 Potato (raw)
    • 1 teaspoon Ginger-chilli paste
    • salt to taste
    • Corriander leaves
    • Oil

    Directions
    Prep:5min  ›  Cook:25min  ›  Extra time:4hr soaking  ›  Ready in:4hr30min 

    1. Grate all the vegetables and add it to the soaked rawa.
    2. Add salt, ginger-chilli paste and mix well
    3. Heat a tawa, put little oil and spread the above mixture. Cover the pan with a lid and let it cook on a low flame. Move the tawa so that it gets cooked from all sides.
    4. Once done, cook the other side as well. This time no need to cover it and you can cook it on high flame.
    5. Serve hot with coriander chutney and tomato sauce.

    Shortcut

    For best results, soak the rawa in buttermilk or curd.
