Besan ke laddoo

    Who doesn't love besan laddoos!! they don't need an introduction...try these and i bet u ll stop buying from the sweet shop!!! they r that good and simple.

    Serves: 4 

    • 1/3 cup ghee
    • 1 cup besan
    • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
    • 1/2 tsp elaichi powder or 4-5 pieces of elaichi(without the covering ofcourse)
    • pinch of nutmeg powder(jaiphal)
    • some almonds(sliced)

    Prep:10min  ›  Cook:30min  ›  Ready in:40min 

    1. Keep a kadhai on low flame, add ghee and besan. Cook till well done, that is golden brown. This may take some time. Keep stirring the besan and ghee till done to avoid overcooking.
    2. Sift the powdered sugar,elaichi and nutmeg powder through a sifter.
    3. Now, remove the kadhai from the flame and let the besan mix cool.
    4. Mix together the besan mix and sugar mix very well.
    5. Now, get ready for the fun part. grease your hands with cooking oil and make small round balls of the mixture and garnish them with sliced almonds.
    6. Serve them warm or store in air tight containers.
    7. ENJOY!!!


    i could not garnish mine with almonds as they vanished while warm!!! haha
