    Fried prawn with cooked yam is so yum!

    Serves: 4 

    • 250 grams yam
    • 500 grams medium size prawns
    • 1/2 spoon jeera seeds
    • 1/2 spoon turmeric powder
    • 1/2 spoon coriander powder
    • 1/2 spoon garam masala powder
    • tomato puree (2 tomatoes)
    • 3 tablespoons mustard oil
    • 2 spoons ghee
    • chilli powder
    • salt and sugar to taste

    1. In a kadai, add mustard oil, heat it. Add jeera seeds and the diced yam and cover them.
    2. when the yam is parboiled, add turmeric powder, chilli powder, and coriander powder.
    3. Fry the prawns and put aside. Add water to boil the yam, and add salt to taste. When the yam is done, add prawns, cover and cook for a while.
    4. Add ghee, garam masala powder and a little sugar. Turn off the gas, and let it stand for awhile. Serve with rice.
