Mix all the ingredients, except the oil in a bowl. Make sure that the mixture is even and the bread crumbs are mixed well.
Oil your palms and a tray.
Make round tikkis that are about 3 inches in diameter and place on the oiled tray.
Heat the oil in a flat pan and fry the tikkis on very low heat, about ten minutes on each side or untill cooked. Sprinkle some chaat masala over your tikkis.
To serve this as a meal, serve the tikkis with a refreshing cucumber salad, mint youghurt and a soft roti. If you are serving them at a dinner party, a tangy mint chutney would be the best accompaniment to get your guests to love the tikkis.
