    • horsegram dhal -1/2 cup
    • small onions -15nos
    • green chillies -3
    • coriander leaves -1/4 cup
    • rock salt -1tsp
    • turmeric pwd -1/4 tsp
    • coriander seeds -2tsp
    • cuminseeds -1tsp
    • onionvadagam -1tsp
    • oil -4tsp


    1. Soak the dhal Overnight.make it to sprout.
    2. cook dhal in a pressure cooker for 10 whistles.
    3. Add onions, Greenchilllies, corianderleaves and turmeric pwd.cook it for 2 whistles.
    4. Heat oil in small kadai, add onionvadagam, coriander seeds, cumin seeds together.when it's splutters pour over the dhal.
    5. Add salt and Grind it.


    Serve it with rice by adding little ghee. long sprouts gives better taste.
