Peanut cutney | shengadanyachi chutney

    Peanut chutney, shengadanyachi chutney in Marathi, is one of famous chutney in Maharashtrian meals. It makes great side dip for every meal.

    • 1 cup roasted peanuts
    • 3 cloves of garlic
    • 1 tsp. cumin seeds
    • 3 tsp. red chili powder
    • Salt to taste


    1. Mix all ingredients together in mixer or grinder
    2. Don’t mix continuously, take break and again give pulse
    3. Blend till it become coarse powder and here peanut or shengadanyachi chutney is ready.


    Shengadanyachi chutney is great side dip for paratha/roti/phulka. Once you make this chutney, it will last for 1 month easily. It has a very good shelf life.
