Masala Chaach

    Chaach is a salted drink like lassi; however, chaas contains more water than lassi and has the butterfat removed, so its consistency is not as thick as lassi. Salt and Jeera (cumin seeds) are normally added for taste and sometimes even fresh coriander. Fresh ground ginger & green chillies may also be added as seasoning.     • Chaach 2 cups
    • Fresh mint leaves 10
    • Cumin Seed 2 tsp
    • Salt to taste
    • Peppercorn 8-10


    1. Heat a pan on medium flame. Roast cumin seeds and then peppercorns.
    2. In a blender put the chaach , roasted cumin seeds and peppercorns, chopped mint leaves, salt and water.
    3. Blend it for 10-15 seconds. If you want, put ice cubes in chaach at last.
    4. Chaach masala is ready to drink.
