Ingredients
Serves : 2
- 1/2 lb chicken breast(boneless)
- 1 cup spinach finely chopped
- 1 tsp tomatoe paste
- 1 onion finely chopped
- 2 tsp sour cream or yoghurt
- 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1/4 tsp garam masala
- 1 bay leaf
- 1/2 stick cinnamon stick
- 1/2 cup skim milk
- 1 inch ginger minced
- 1 clove garlic minced
- 2 tsp vegetable oil
- 1 whole dry red pepper
- salt to taste
Directions
Prep:10min › Cook:20min › Ready in:30min
- Saute the onions in oil for 2 mins till light brown.
- Add the chicken and the masalas and saute for 5 mins.
- Add the spinach and saute for 2 mins.
- Add the sour cream and saute for 1 min.
- Add the skim milk,mix and cover with a lid and let it simmer for 10 mins.
- Serve with rice or roti.
Serving suggestion
It tastes good with garlic naans.
