About this recipe: Paneer Pakodas are created by taking one or two ingredients such as paneer, and dipping them in a batter of gram flour and then deep-frying them. The most popular varieties is Paneer pakoda, made from paneer (soft cheese). Crispy outside and soft inside. Paneer pakoda is a perfect snacks for kids for tiffin .Kids are enjoy to eat them.   • Paneer 250 grams
  • Yogurt (curd, dahi) 2 tablespoons
  • Ginger- garlic paste 1 teaspoon
  • Salt 1/2 teaspoon
  • Coriander finely chopped (hara dhania) 1 tablespoon
  • For Batter Gram Flour (Besan) 1 cup
  • Salt to taste
  • Carrom seeds(Ajwain) 1/2 teaspoon
  • Oil deep fry


  1. 1. For batter:mix the besan, Carrom seeds, salt . Add water slowly to make a thick, pasty batter.
  2. 2. Marinate the paneer in a bowl combine the yogurt, salt, ginger-garlic, and green coriander. Mix well, to the consistency of a soft paste. Add the paneer pieces and gently coat them with the yogurt mixture. Set aside one hour or more.
  3. 3. Heat oil in a kadai dip the marinated paneer cubes in the batter and gently slide into the hot oil and deep fry on medium heat till golden brown.
  4. 4. The crispy, delicious paneer pakoras are ready to pack in kids tiffin with tamoto sauce or if kids like pack with green chutney.
