    About this recipe: Why to buy snackbars when you can make that at home without without preservatives and additives and all the other add ons that doesn't add to your health

    Ingredients

    • Puffed rice - 2 cups
    • corn flakes - 1 cup
    • pumpkin seeds 1- 2 teaspoon
    • flaxseed - 1 table spoon
    • sesame seed - 1 table spoon
    • millets(like barnyard or proso) - 1 1/2 cup
    • honey -1 table spoon
    • palm sugar - 2 table spoon
    • jaggery - 3 table spoon
    • aluminium foil to make bars

    Directions

    1. dry roast all the nuts and seeds until nice aroma comes sesame seeds and flax seeds will take only 30 secs to 1 min
    2. to roast the millets soak it in water for 5 -10 mins then dry roast it in medium heat.
    3. dry roast the puffed rice for 1 - 2 minute till it is nice and crunchy
    4. Make a syrup out of all three sweeteners into single string consistency
    5. then mix all the roasted ingredients and corn flakes to the syrup
    6. Put 1or 2 teaspoon of that in a aluminium foil and make it in to a bar

    Shortcut

    You can store for more than a week. and give it as snack for a kids or adults.
