    About this recipe: French beans steamed and dressed with honey, soy and garlic. Use the freshest, most tender French beans for this speedy dish that goes great with chicken, lamb, sausage or any kind of meat.

    Serves: 4 

    • 350g fresh French beans, trimmed
    • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
    • 1 clove garlic, minced
    • 1 teaspoon dried crushed chillies
    • 2 tsp honey
    • 2 tsp rapeseed oil

    1. Steam the French beans 3 to 4 minutes.
    2. In a bowl, mix the soy sauce, garlic, chillies and honey.
    3. Heat the oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Add the beans, and stir-fry for 3 to 5 minutes. Pour in the soy sauce mixture. Continue cooking and stirring for 2 minutes, or until the liquid is nearly evaporated. Serve immediately.
