    About this recipe: A quick and easy recipe that contains no eggs or gelatine and is suitable for any occasion. It's great served with whatever fruit is in season.

    Serves: 6 

    • 100g bar (3 1/2 oz) good quality plain chocolate
    • 50ml milk
    • 200ml cream
    • 100g strawberries (or other seasonal fruit) sliced.

    1. Melt chocolate in a bowl over a pan of simmering hot water.
    2. Heat the milk until boiling, then whisk in melted chocolate. Leave to cool.
    3. Whip 150ml of cream until soft peak stage, then fold into cooled chocolate.
    4. Reserve 6 strawberry slices for decoration, place remainder into 6 serving ramekins or small bowls.
    5. Evenly spoon in the chocolate mixture.
    6. Whip remaining cream and use to decorate top of dessert with sliced strawberries.
