About this recipe:Milkmaid condensed milk with grand marnier into a great 'ice cream'. I like to serve two small scoops in tiny dishes with shortbread, biscotti or amaretti. Feel free to experiment and add a few drops of real vanilla essence or some vanilla seeds.
400g sweetened condensed milk
2 (284ml) pots of cream
12 tbsps Grand Marnier or other liqueur
Directions Prep:3hr › Ready in:3hr
Thoroughly chill all ingredients first.
Whip the cream to soft peaks, gently fold in the condensed milk and liqueur, then freeze.
You can add more alcohol if you like, but remember that it will prevent the ice cream from freezing, so always serve straight from the freezer! You will get a soft, smooth, heavy texture.
