    Simple, easy recipe for wonderful tasting biscuits. Great for people who are vegetarian or allergic to eggs and nuts.

    • 225g butter
    • 120g icing sugar
    • 180g plain flour
    • 1/2 teaspoon bicarbonate of soda
    • 80g porridge oats
    • 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
    • 170g chocolate chips

    1. Cream butter and add sugar with a wooden spoon. Sift flour and bicarb. Mix together thoroughly. Then add oats, vanilla and chocolate chips. Mix well and drop mixture onto a foil-lined baking tray. Bake at 180 C for 15 minutes or until lightly browned.
