About this recipe: Healthy and tasty laddu

  • Dates (Black Variety) – 1 cup
  • Peanuts – 1 cup
  • White sesame seeds – 3 tbsp


  1. 1. Heat a wok, dry roast peanuts in medium or low flame till the pop sound stops and the skin changes to semi black coloured.
  2. 2. In the same pan, dry roast the white sesame seeds and keep aside.
  3. 3. Once done, switch off the flame , completely cools the peanuts, and peel off completely.
  4. 4. Add this peanuts to mixer jar, grind it coarsely and keep aside.
  5. 5. Remove the seeds from dates and grind it coarsely in a mixer.
  6. 6. Mix the the grinded peanuts, dates and roasted sesame seeds. Knead with hands to mix three ingredients together.
  7. 7. Pinch a small portion and make a round laddu. Do the same for remaining dough and make equal sized laddu’s.
  8. 8. Store it in a airtight jar.
