Wild Garlic & Cheese Potatoes Served In Myborosil Serving Plates

    Not every now and then that you get to come across a vegetarian dish that has a tangy twist to the entire course of a meal Well, here is one with potatoes that is called the wild garlic and cheese potatoes which is served in an over baked and creamy state. It is certainly a twist or a deviation from the regular potato dishes, great in taste, easy to cook and it is simply works it’s charm like magic!

    • 1.5kg (3 ½ lbs) of Potatoes
    • 100g (4oz) of grated Cheddar Cheese
    • 500ml (1 pint) of Whipping Cream
    • Black Pepper which is freshly ground.
    • 50g (2oz) of grated Parmesan Cheese
    • Approximately 10 Wild Garlic leaves, shredded thinly


    1. Using a sharp knife, peel off and slice thinly all the potatoes. Then, place them in a large bowl.
    2. Next, add all the finely grated parmesan cheese, almost all of the cheddar cheese, the garlic or the wild garlic and the cream. Next, add 8-10 twists of freshly ground pepper.
    3. Take a large tea spoon and mix everything together well. Then scoop it into a 2" deep baking dish. Next sprinkle the remaining grated cheddar cheese over the top and ensure that everything is flattened down gently.
    4. Bake the potatoes in a pre-heated oven at 175°C, 350°F, Gas for about an hour. After thirty minuets, take the dish out. Gently press the potatoes down again so that the cream can come up over the top of the mixture. Place it back in the oven again until the cooking time is over


    The final cooked potato dish will have the top slightly crispy and brown. Serve it in an elegant My Borosil Serving Dish Have a hearty and filling meal with friends and family!
