Classic Mojito

About this recipe: Mojito, one of the oldest cocktails known and is also the most commonly ordered cocktail. Like all my recipes, I've chosen the easiest way to make this recipe delicious and great! This is a great drink for those summer brunches/parties !

  • McDowell’s No. 1 Caribbean White Rum - about 60 ml (For an English Mojito, you may use 30 ml of Gin)
  • 1 teaspoon icing sugar
  • Mint leaves
  • Lime juice
  • Soda water (Use Sprite instead for an English Mojito, also acts as a sweetner)
  • Ice cubes
  • Mint sprigs

  1. Add some lime juice, sugar, and mint leaves in a jar and crush the mint leaves using a rolling pin or any object that would serve the purpose.
  2. Pour the contents of the jar into a glass and add some ice cubes into the glass
  3. Add 60 ml McDowell’s No. 1 Caribbean White Rum to the glass while stirring it with a long-handled spoon
  4. Pour some soda water to the mix along with some mint sprigs to garnish your mojito
  5. Served Chilled !

For an English Mojito use Gin instead of White Rum and Sprite instead of sugar/soda
