    About this recipe: A great Dish inspired from the colourful state of Rajasthan ." methi Papad ki sabzi" needs very few ingredients and has a flavour that is distinct and fabulous . easy to make and methi is good for health.


    • 6-7 papad ( torn into pices )
    • 1/2 tsp. dhania powder.
    • 1/2 tsp red chilli powder.
    • 1/2 tsp. jeera powder.
    • 4 tsp. methi seeds
    • salt to taste.
    • mustard seeds.
    • water (enough to saok and boil).
    • 3 cups water ( for tempring).
    • 3 tsp oil.
    • 2 pinches asfoetida.
    • fresh green dhania for garnish.


    1. soak methi seeds for 15 min. in 1 cup of water.
    2. in small pan, boil the seeds till tender. Drain
    3. heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds, asfoetida, red chilli powder and then put water.
    4. now add the other spices, methi seeds and salt. bring water to boil.
    5. add pieces of papad to boiling water stir and cook for 3-4 min.
    6. garnish with fresh green dhania.
    7. serve hot with chapati.
