Cheesy Garlic Mashed Aloo

    Great dinner dish with chicken, mutton or German sausage and a leafy salad.

    Serves: 4 

    • 5 medium potatoes, peeled and diced
    • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
    • 200g grated Cheddar cheese
    • 50g butter or margarine

    Prep:10min  ›  Cook:20min  ›  Ready in:30min 

    1. Boil potatoes until tender, about 20 minutes. Drain and add garlic, grated Cheddar and butter. Mash until creamy and serve!

    We really enjoyed these potatoes. I melted the butter and cooked the finely minced garlic gently in the butter for a few minutes before adding it to the potatoes.
