Quinoa Upma South Indian Style


    Here the methods and preparation of the quinoa upma in south Indian style follow the simple steps to prepare your daily healthy diet

    • 3 spoons cooked quinoa
    • sliced onions
    • 1 tbsp peas, steamed
    • 1 green chillies sliced
    • A pinch of turmeric powder
    • Salt to taste
    • Coriander for garnishing
    • 2 tsp oil
    • 1/4 tsp mustard
    • 1/4 tsp cumin seeds
    • A pinch of hing


    1. Heat oil in a pan, add oil, cumin, hing, mustard seeds. Then add onions and saute till translucent.
    2. Then add the chillies, carrots and peas and saute for few minutes.
    3. Then add haldi, garam masala and cooked quinoa. Cover and cook on simmer for 5 minutes.
    4. Garnish with coriander leaves.
    5. Now to Quinoa Upma is ready to serve
