Homemade Ginger Garlic Paste Recipe

    Homemade ginger garlic paste is easy and cheap than store-bought one if we prepare at home itself.There is no harmful preservatives or any artificial colors in the home products as in store-bought items. Therefore,it is always best and healthy if we make these kinds of things at home itself. Ginger garlic paste is very useful for bachelors,newly married and working women’s as they do not want to peel and chop or grate ginger and garlic in the hurry bury morning cooking.

    • Ginger – 1 Cup
    • Garlic / Poondu – 1 Cup
    • Turmeric Powder – 1 tsp
    • Sesame Oil / Gingelly Oil – 2 tsp
    • Sea Salt / Crystal Salt / கல் உப்பு – 1 tsp


    1. Remove husks from garlic.Peel the skins off from the ginger using peeler or knife and wash it thoroughly and chop into small pieces.
    2. Take a mixer jar or blender or food processor, add garlic, chopped ginger pieces, salt, turmeric, and sesame oil.Grind it to a smooth paste.
    3. Homemade ginger garlic paste is ready now. Store it in a glass bottle and keep it in the fridge.Use a dry spoon when you take.


    HOW TO PEEL GARLIC IN AN EASY WAY Take garlic’s in a bowl or any container. Close it with a lid and shake it vigorously for about 20 seconds. Now open the lid and see how all the husks from the garlic pods got peeled easily.
