Pepper Mutton Fry

    A better way of using pepper(kali mirchi) for a change. It is best for health during rainy season or for very cold weather.

    • 1.500gm of mutton(lamb)
    • 2. 2 medium sized onions finely chopped.
    • 3.A bunch of coriander,some leaves of mint & 1teaspoon of ginger-garlic paste.
    • 4.5-6 green chillies made into paste with 1/2 teaspoon of salt.
    • 5.1/4 teaspoon of haldi (turmeric) powder & 1teaspoon of salt preferred.
    • 6. 2 teaspoon of black pepper powdered.
    • 7. 1/2 cup of curd.
    • 8.1 teaspoon of Garam masala (1teaspoon of shahjeera,1elaichi,1loung (clove) a smallpiece of dalchini)
    • 9. 2tablespoon of cooking oil.


    1. Add all the ingredients,except onions, to the mutton.
    2. Let it marinate for 30min-1hr.
    3. Heat the pressure cooker ,then add oil,in this add the chopped onions.
    4. Let the onions become light brown in color.Then add the marinated mutton to it and fry for 5 minutes.
    5. Add some water to it and mix well,fix the lid.
    6. Let it cook for 4-5 whistles.Open the lid, after cooling ,see that mutton pieces have become tender and soft.
    7. Serve this recipe with chapatis or bread or plain cooked rice.
