Papdi chatt


    This papdi chatt is made from home made papdi....because of which it tastes very nice.....should try it with homemade papdi.

    • Hlf cup rava(suji)
    • 1 tbsp urad atta
    • 1/4th cup water
    • 1/4th tsp baking powder
    • diced onion
    • diced tomato
    • green chutney
    • imli chutney
    • curd
    • bundi or shev
    • chatt masala
    • garam masala
    • ragda


    1. FOR PAPDI - take rava,urad atta,and salt in a bowl.Add baking powder water to it(mix 1/4th tsp baking soda in 1/4th cup water OR u can also use 1/4th cup club soda).Make a stiff dough and rest it for 15-20 min.Now take a small ball of dough and roll it thin.Fry it till golden brown on medium to low flame.
    2. FOR GREEN CHUTNEY - take 1 cup mint leaves,1 cup coriender,2-3 green chillis,ginger and groundnuts and blend it into paste.
    3. FOR IMLI CHUTNEY - take 1 cup imli and 1 cup dates and soak it for 1 hour.Then grind it and make a fine paste.Now take the paste in a pan and add 1 cup jagger(gul) and boil it.Add salt,red chilli powder,jeera powder and cook it.
    4. FOR RAGDA - take white matar,add salt to it and cook it in presser cooker.When it cooks give it tadka(oil.jeera,hing).
    5. PLATING - take papdis in a bowl,add ragda,tomatos,onion,whipped curd,chatt masala,garam masala,green and imli chutney,salt,bundi or shev and coriender and sevre it.
