How to Make Khaman with Satvam Instant Mix?

    • Bengal gram flour
    • Sugar
    • Iodized salt
    • Acidity regulator (E330)
    • Raising agent (E500(ii))
    • Turmeric powder


    1. Cut Satvam Khaman Mix pack from the top and remove the sachet which is inside the Khaman mixture.
    2. Add the Khaman mixture into a bowl containing 330 ml of water and stir well.
    3. Keep the mixture aside for 5 mins and Dissolve the contents of the sachet in 70 ml of water and immediately add it to the above mixture.
    4. Mix well and spread it onto 2 oiled base plates.
    5. Steam for 20 mins.
    6. Remove the plates and let it cool for 10 mins.
    7. Pour 130 ml of water on the plates and cut the Khaman into equal pieces.


    For Tadka - Take 90 gms oil and add mustard seeds and green chilli. Add 280 ml of water into it and bring to a boil and pour equally on the plate of Khaman. To decorate sprinkle green coriander and grated coconut on Khaman. Serve hot with Satvam's Kadhi. Kadhi Recipe: Add 430 ml of water into Satvam Kadhi Powder. Stir well and make it a mixture without lumps. Boil it for 5 mins and serve with hot Satvam Khaman.
