Ragi Oats Laddu

    Ingredients

    • 1 cup oats
    • 18 dates
    • 3 tbsp ghee
    • 1 1/2 cup ragi flour
    • 1/2 cup honey
    • 1 tsp cardamom powder

    Directions

    1. Dry roast the oats lightly about 4 to 5 minutes and coarsely grind them

    3. Make a smooth paste of roughly chopped dates and ½ cup milk.
    4. Heat 1 tbsp of ghee in a pan
    5. Roast coarsely grinded oats on low flame about 2 minutes and keep it aside.
    6. Heat 2 tbsp ghee in another pan
    7. Add oats flour and mix well
    8. Add dates and milk paste, ¼ cup of honey and stir continuously on low flame about 5 minutes
    9. Let it cool for 15 minutes over
    10. Add chopped dates, ¼ cup honey and kneed a dough
    11. Take a small quantity of mixture in hand and give it a laddu shape.
    12. Repeat for the rest of flour.
