    1. Place onion and mushrooms in a food processor and process until finely chopped. Add mince, breadcrumbs, herbs, tomato purée, salt and pepper. Process in bursts for a few seconds at a time, until mixture binds together but still has some texture.
    2. Mould handfuls of the mince mixture into burger patties using lightly floured hands.
    3. Using a large frying pan or griddle, cook the burgers for 12 to 15 minutes, turning once, until evenly cooked.
    4. Serve with relish and salad, in burger buns or chapati.

Mmmm.... Lush!!! Such a gorgeous recipe, worked well halved, although our mix was a bit moist, it tasted delicious! The mushrooms really stretch the meat and give a wonderful flavour. We added some chilli flakes for an added kick. Spectacular! These will be a regular now... Thank you so much x x x  -  29 Jan 2012  (Review from Allrecipes UK | Ireland)

My kids loved these and had no idea mushrooms were hidden inside. I think the mushrooms gave an added benefit of making these burgers very juicy and moist. I will definitely make these again.  -  29 Sep 2008  (Review from Allrecipes UK | Ireland)
