    About this recipe: Gorgeous homemade sauce to add five stars to your next party!

    Ingredients
    Serves: 6 

    • 2 tsp vegetable oil
    • 1 garlic clove, crushed
    • 1 onion, finely chopped
    • 500g keema
    • 2 carrots, finely chopped
    • 1 tablespoon tomato puree
    • 400g chopped tomatoes
    • 250ml beef stock
    • 1/2 tsp salt
    • 1/4 tsp pepper
    • 1/4 tsp dried herbs

    Directions
    Prep:15min  ›  Cook:45min  ›  Ready in:1hr 

    1. Heat the oil in a large saucepan and brown the garlic, onions and mince.
    2. Add the carrots and celery and cook until tender.
    3. Stir in the puree, stock, tomatoes and herbs. Cover and simmer for 40 minutes.
