    About this recipe: Mackerel fish and new aloo baked with onions, piquant mustard, milk and cheese.

    Serves: 4 

    • 4 Smoked Mackerel Fillets
    • 20-40 small baby potatoes
    • 1 red onion, sliced
    • 600ml cream
    • 2 tablespoons wholegrain mustard
    • 300ml milk
    • Cheese for grating

    1. Boil the potatoes in their skins for 10 minutes then allow to cool. Slice the potatoes into 4mm slices.
    2. Flake the fish fillets into a bowl (not too fine). Add the potatoes and onion to the fish and mix thoroughly. Place into a baking dish.
    3. Combine the cream, milk and mustard and mix. Pour over the fish mixture. Grate cheese over the dish and place into an oven 200 C for 40 minutes. Eat with a green salad and some bread to mop up the sauce. Enjoy!
