About this recipe:Mackerel fish and new aloo baked with onions, piquant mustard, milk and cheese.
4 Smoked Mackerel Fillets
20-40 small baby potatoes
1 red onion, sliced
2 tablespoons wholegrain mustard
Cheese for grating
Directions Prep:20min › Cook:40min › Ready in:1hr
Boil the potatoes in their skins for 10 minutes then allow to cool. Slice the potatoes into 4mm slices.
Flake the fish fillets into a bowl (not too fine). Add the potatoes and onion to the fish and mix thoroughly. Place into a baking dish.
Combine the cream, milk and mustard and mix. Pour over the fish mixture. Grate cheese over the dish and place into an oven 200 C for 40 minutes. Eat with a green salad and some bread to mop up the sauce. Enjoy!
