About this recipe: There would be no household in kerala without Banana chips when hosting a feast . I personally crave banana chips...and know many others who do too!

Serves: 4 

  • 4 Green Plantain/ raw banana
  • 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • Coconut oil for deep frying
  • Salt to taste

  1. Peel the outer skin from plantain and cut it into thin round pieces. Now add turmeric powder to it and mix well.
  2. Heat oil in a deep fryer and fry the plantain in bunches. Transfer onto butter paper and sprinkle salt as needed.
