Veggie Fried Toast

    A nutritious and tasty roll with a vegetable filling. A great snack or school lunch for kids.

    Makes: 6 veg rolls

    • 1 cup Boiled peas and diced carrots
    • 2 large boiled potatoes
    • salt to taste
    • one pinch turmeric
    • 1/2 tsp chilli powder
    • 1/2 tsp garam masala
    • 6 slices brown or white bread

    Prep:15min  ›  Cook:20min  ›  Ready in:35min 

    1. Mash the boiled vegetables and add all the spices. Make round or oval shaped balls of the mixture.
    2. Wet a bread slice and squeeze out the water.
    3. Fill the stuffing and seal the edges together using cornflour paste.
    4. Deep fry in hot oil. Serve crispy veg rolls with tomato sauce.
