Heat oil in a frying pan, add mustard and let splutter. Now,lower the flame and add urad dal, red chili and coconut and stir for about 20 seconds. Now add mint leaves and stir 10 seconds.
Turn off the heat. Let cool.
Transfer it to a mixer and add tamarind paste and sour curd and salt to taste. Grind well.
