    About this recipe: This is one of my son's favourite. He likes to eat it with lots of tomatoes.

    Ingredients
    Serves: 2 

    • 500 grams bhindi (cut into slices)
    • 2 tablespoons oil
    • 1 medium-sized onion (chopped)
    • 1 teaspoon red chilli powder
    • 1/4 teaspoon tumeric
    • 1 teaspoon garam masala powder
    • salt to taste
    • 2 medium-sized tomatoes

    Directions
    Prep:5min  ›  Cook:10min  ›  Ready in:15min 

    1. Heat oil in a pan, add onion and cook it till it turns transparent. Add Bhindi,red chilli powder, turmeric, garam masala powder and salt in it. Cook it for another 2 minutes.
    2. Add tomatoes and cook till it softens and oil separates to the side of the pan. Serve and eat it with chappati or naan.

    Substitution

    Being a garlic lover, I sometimes add a pinch of garlic powder or a teaspoon of minced garlic to this dish.
