Rajasthani Meetha Pooda with Rabri

About this recipe: My mom used to makes this as a treat when I got good marks in tests at school.

Serves: 4 

  • 1 cup Atta
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cardamom powder
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • For rabri
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup sugar

  1. Mix atta, sugar and cardamom powder in milk and make a batter. Keep it aside for 10 minutes.
  2. In a pan, reduce milk till it starts thickening, add sugar and cook for 2 more minutes. Set aside and let it cool.
  3. Heat a frying pan/griddle, pour the batter in the center and make it a thick 'dosa' type pooda. Cook it both the sides by brushing with ghee. Put rabri in the center of pooda, serve hot pooda with cold rabri.
