Rajasthani Gwaar ki phalli ki sabji
This is my mom-in-law's recipe.She prefers to make it in mustard oil. I add a smoky flavour to it as my personal touch.

250 grams cluster beans (gawar ki phalli)
1 teaspoon red chilli powder
1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
2 tablespoons dhaniya powder
Salt to taste
2 tablespoons mustard oil
1 teaspoon ghee
- Cut the top and end of cluster beans. Boil it for 5 minutes and then strain into a bowl. Add red chilli powder, dhaniya powder, turmeic powder and salt to the bowl.
- Heat oil in a pan; add the bean mixture to the pan, cook on medium heat till oil separates. Serve hot!
For smoky flavour, put ghee in a small bowl, place it in the center of the pan with cluster beans around it. Gently put a red hot coal in the bowl of ghee and close the lid of pan tightly.
