About this recipe:It is a sweet dish that is very easy to make. When you have more number of guests at home and you want to serve them a unique sweet dish which can be done in few minutes, then you must try this. Your guests and even kids would relish this pudding!
Boil 1/2 litre milk. Mix custard powder with cold milk to form a paste with no lumps. Add this custard paste to the boiled milk, stirring continuously. Add 2.5 tablespoons sugar to this custard. Make sure the custard doesn't stick to the bottom of the vessel. Stir for 5-10 minutes till the custard thickens.
Chocolate Sauce Preparation:
Boil remaining milk. Mix corn flour and cocoa powder with cold milk to form a paste with no lumps. Add this paste to the milk stirring continuously. Add 3.5 tablespoons sugar to this mixture. Stir for 4-5 minutes till the paste is completely mixed with milk.
Chocolate Biscuits Preparation:
Melt 2 bars of milk chocolate on low flame. Coat the Marie biscuits in this sauce and keep aside to set. (If not used for kids, it can be replaced by coating the biscuits with coffee sauce - coffee mixed with water)
Take a rectangular or flat dish. Cut cake slices and spread at the base of the dish covering the bottom completely. Now, spread a thick layer of custard covering the cake layer completely. Next, spread the chocolate sauce covering the custard layer completely. On the top, put the chocolate biscuits prepared in previous step to cover the sauce layer completely. Garnish with walnuts, peanuts and grated chocolate. Refrigerate for 1 hr. Serve chilled.
